EL MÉXICO A UN TRIUNFO DE LA FINAL DE LA ZONA SUR, VENCIÓ A PUEBLA 4-2

Ciudad de México a 15 de septiembre (diablos.com.mx). – El cuarto juego de Playoff entre Diablos Rojos y Pericos de Puebla se lo llevó el México siete carreras a tres. De la mano del abridor escarlata Carlos Antonio de León la Pandilla Roja se colocó a un triunfo de la Final de la zona sur. Carlos A. de León (1-0, 1.20) ganó el juego con trabajo de cinco episodios, le anotaron par de carreras y ponchó a tres hombres; el también abridor Daniel Flores (0-1, 7.20) cargó con la derrota, se mantuvo cinco episodios en la loma y toleró cuatro carreras. Diablos atacó temprano la serpentina de Daniel Flores, cuando David Vidal (1) produjo la carrera de la quiniela con su primer cuadrangular de la postemporada en el segundo rollo. En la tercera, el México armó rally de tres gracias a doblete productor de dos de Yeison Asencio y después él mismo llegó al plato con hit productor que salió del bate de Luis Jiménez. Puebla respondió en el desenlace de la tercera con par de carreras impulsadas por Antonio Lamas y Delmon Young para acercar a los locales 4-2. Mientras se jugaba la parte alta de la octava una tormenta cayó en el Estadio Hermanos Serdán por lo que el umpire principal, Édgar Huerta decidió suspender el juego momentáneamente por lluvia. Después de la reanudación este domingo a la una de la tarde, los Diablos Rojos armaron rally de tres en la novena entrada, cortesía de sencillos productores de Michael Choice y Carlos Figueroa además de wild pitch del relevista emplumado Enrique Burgos.
